Colin Farrell Wins Golden Globe For Best Acting In A Limited Series For ‘The Penguin’

Colin Farrell reflected on being one of the few award-winning actors to play a comic book character following his win at the Golden Globes for The Penguin.

“You mentioned two actors who are, I think, for my money, two of the most extraordinarily talented and gifted and just brilliant artists in films that I’ve ever had the fortune to observe and be affected by,” Farrell explained in a comment to Variety following his Golden Globes win. The actor is already gearing up to return as Oz Cobb in The Batman Part II, which is finally set to begin filming later this year in spite of numerous delays pushing it back to 2027. Matt Reeves revealed he’s currently in talks with showrunner Lauren LeFranc to bring Colin Farrell back to the small screen to reprise his now award winning comic book role.
