Colin Farrell Officially Returning As The Penguin For ‘The Batman 2’

Colin Farrell is set to reprise his role as The Penguin for The Batman 2. Matt Reeves, who is co-writing and directing the movie, broke the news at Comic-Con.

Director Matt Reeves, who helmed the first film and is also involved in writing and directing the sequel, announced the news during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. At the panel, Reeves revealed that The Batman 2 is scheduled to begin filming in early 2025, with Farrell’s portrayal of The Penguin in the Max series setting the stage for his return in the movie. Additional actors include Rhenzy Feliz, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Theo Rossi, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau, David H. Holmes, Craig Walker and Jared Abrahamson.
