Colin Farrell, 47, looked unrecognisable on Wednesday as he continued filming The Batman spin-off entitled The Penguin in New York City Matt Reeeves, the film's director, compared the character of Penguin to Fredo Corleone (John Cazale) from The Godfather (1972), due to 'the insignificance that he lives within, in a family that is full of very strong, very bright, very capable, very violent men'. The actor's last feature film roles came in 2022 when, as well as The Batman, he appeared in the critically acclaimed, Golden Globe-winning black comedy-tragedy The Banshees of Inisherin.
