Coldplay's shock health emergency causes band to play show without all four members for first time ever

Coldplay performed as a three-piece at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne after bass player Guy Berryman was taken "very, very sick" - marking the first time the band has played without all four members

Chris, who has been dating actress Dakota Johnson for seven years, reassured the audience: "Our bass player, Guy, is very very sick and will not be, for the first time... he's not gonna be able to play today. After the concert, Coldplay took to Instagram to express their thanks to the supportive fans, noting the historic moment of playing without the full band for the first time since forming in 1997, reports the Mirror. While Coldplay has three more scheduled performances at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium this week, fans remain hopeful that Guy will make it back on stage, although there has been no official confirmation yet.
