Coldplay Perform ‘Sunshine on Leith’ With Laura Mvula for BBC’s Radio 2 Piano Room
Coldplay performed a cover of the Proclaimers 'Sunshine On Leith' plus 'All My Love,' 'Viva La Vida,' 'Paradise,' and more for BBC Radio 2 Piano Room.
The Proclaimers single, which was originally released in 1988, filled out the band's set list alongside "All My Love," "Viva La Vida," "Paradise," and more Chris Martin had only heard the Proclaimers single “Sunshine on Leith” for the first time three days before Coldplay performed a cover of the 1988 record for BBC’s Radio 2 Piano Room. “Sunshine on Leith” closed out Coldplay’s set which also featured their own classic singles “Viva La Vida” and “Paradise,” as well as “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” “All My Love,” and “The Karate Kid” from their latest album, Moon Music.
