Coldplay Dedicates ‘Everglow’ to Taylor Swift at German Concert: ‘This Is for All of You Who Feel Sad’
In an unexpected crossover of pop titans, Coldplay's Chris Martin paid homage to Taylor Swift during their Düsseldorf concert on Saturday (July 20).
Before performing their 2016 track “Everglow,” Martin dedicated the song to Swift and her fans, acknowledging her recent departure from nearby Gelsenkirchen after completing her Eras Tour shows in the city last Friday. Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department remains a fixture in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, while Coldplay’s latest single “Higher Power” is climbing the Hot 100.
