Simpson’s caption reads very much like a love letter to his career in reverse, recalling how his discovery took place on both MySpace and YouTube, followed by a trip to New York to audition to Atlantic Records executives on his very own 13th birthday. “They sacrificed so much for me to shape my life, and I will forever be indebted,” Simpson wrote about his parents, who pulled up their whole family with the aim of making sure he fulfilled his dreams. Only difference now is, 15 years later, Simpson has gained a share of life knowledge and, right beside him along his roller coaster journey, are his very own people who have been with him in every high and low.
