CNN’s Live ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ Telecast Spurs Special Coverage
CNN will turn a live telecast of 'Good Night and Good Luck' into an evening long event with special coverage featuring Anderson Cooper, Scott Pelley
Anderson Cooper and Pamela Brown will lead special live coverage for the Warner Bros. Discovery-backed outlet’s telecast, which will mark a first for Broadway. CNN plans to air the show, which stars George Clooney and tells the story of CBS News journalist Edward R. Murrow as he covers the divisive tactics of Senator Joseph McCarthy, without commercial interruption, and will stream the program on CNN.com without requiring a subscription. Some major media companies, including NPR, PBS and Walt Disney Co., have been enmeshed in legal maneuverings or threats to block crucial flowing of funding.
