CNN’s Christiane Amanpour Joins UK Audio Giant Global To Launch Original Podcasts
Christiane Amanpour will launch a number of original podcasts for 'News Agents' company Global. She will continue to work at CNN.
The company’s highest-profile podcast is The News Agents, hosted by former BBC presenters Emily Maitlis, Jon Sopel, and Lewis Goodall. James Rea, Global’s chief broadcasting and content officer, said: “Christiane Amanpour is the journalist every newsroom respects and every world leader listens to. Global owns a raft of major UK radio stations, including LBC, Capital, Heart, and Classic FM.
