CNN Anchor Kaitlan Collins Named Chief White House Correspondent, Will Keep Primetime Role

Kaitlan Collins has been named as CNN's Chief White House Correspondent, but will also continue to anchor 'The Source'.

Calling her new role “unprecedented,” CNN announced Collins will lead the news net’s reporting on President-elect Donald Trump’s second administration across digital, TV and streaming platforms. “Kaitlan Collins is the perfect person to lead coverage of the new Trump White House, even as she continues to anchor her key primetime show The Source,” said CNN Chairman and CEO Mark Thompson. She joined CNN in 2017 and has gone on to break stories out of the Biden and first Trump administrations, including major staff departures and policy decisions.
