For her role in The Changeling as the wife of Stanfield’s Apollo, a new mom who is suffering emotionally and vanishes without a trace, Backo earned a 2024 Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance. In TV, Backo is also known for her work in the Starz series The Girlfriend Experience, ABC/Netflix’s Designated Survivor, the CW’s Supernatural and the Canadian hit comedy Letterkenny.
