‘Weird Al’ Yankovic has tapped into his inner sad girl, cosplaying Clairo in the indie darling’s new music video “Terrapin,” directed by Ayo Edebiri. In the goofy Eighties-inspired video, a suited Yankovic emerges from a prop film set house to animatedly lip sync, as background dancers twirl around him. Also marking a first, “Terrapin” is the first music video from actress and multi-hyphenate Edebiri, whose first time in the director’s seat was for a Season Three episode of The Bear.
