Claire Danes & ‘My So-Called Life’ Creator Winnie Holzman Reunite For HBO Project
Claire Danes and Winnie Holzman, who worked together more than 30 years ago on ABC drama My So-Called Life, are reteaming on a drama project at HBO.
The Applebaum Curse, which is in very early development at the premium cable outlet, is described as an ongoing one-hour drama series about a dysfunctional family, with Danes in the lead role. Despite airing for just one season, the critically praised show won several awards, including a Golden Globe win for Danes as well as an Emmy nomination for lead actress in a drama series. She’ll next be seen headlining The Beast In Me, Netflix’s upcoming limited series, created, written and executive produced by Gabe Rotter.
