CJ 4DPlex Names Joon Beom Sim as CEO (EXCLUSIVE)
Joon Beom Sim has been named as the new CEO of CJ 4DPlex, replacing Jong Ryul Kim.
“In assuming the role of CEO at CJ 4DPLex, I am thrilled to lead the company into its next chapter of growth and global prominence,” Sim wrote in a statement. He was named CEO of CJ CGV Vietnam in 2017, beginning a three-year tenure in which he managed operations and development, as well as film investment and distribution. The company’s 4DX auditoriums, which feature effects such as moving seats, lighting and weather simulations that are synchronized to onscreen action, now total more than 745 across 70 countries.
