CJ 4DPlex Americas Appoints Paul H. Kim as COO (EXCLUSIVE)
Paul H. Kim has been upped to chief operating officer for CJ4DPlex for the American division, overseeing ScreenX and 4DX.
CJ 4DPlex, the Korean cinematic technology company behind ScreenX and 4DX premium large format auditoriums, has appointed Paul H. Kim as chief operating officer (COO) of its branch in the Americas. Based in Los Angeles, Kim will oversee growth for CJ’s theatrical technology: ScreenX, which uses multiple screens to create an expanded 270-degree view during movies; and 4DX, which features seats that rock, rattle and roll along with smoke, water and other effects. “With the growing demand for premium formats, I look forward to working more closely with our studio partners, creative teams and exhibitors to bring audiences even more unforgettable moviegoing experiences.”
