On Monday, Deadline reported that Kaia will portray 'terrifying and untouchable' Yates University student Esther in Benito Skinner's Prime Video comedy Overcompensating alongside Connie Britton and Kyle MacLachlan. The ensemble cast also includes Gabriel LaBelle, Rachel Sennott, Ella Hunt, Dylan O'Brien, Emily Fairn, Matt Wood, Lamorne Morris, Kim Matula, Finn Wolfhard, Nicholas Braun, Cooper Hoffman, Andrew Barth Feldman, Tommy Dewey, Willem Dafoe, Matthew Rhys, and JK Simmons.
