The Oscar winner played the gangster in the multi-award winning BBC series from 2013 to 2022 and is now back for a big screen outing, alongside new cast members Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth. The British screenwriter, 65, recently talked up the 'mindblowing' cast during the RTS London Convention, noting that the film is set in the Second World War. Teasing what fans can expect, he said: 'I'm thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II.'
