Murphy, 47, who played Shelby for a decade across six series of Peaky Blinders, said he's ready to take on the role again. The sixth season of Peaky Blinders ended with a cliffhanger, as Tommy was given an open-ended fate after going through several challenges that resulted in him parting ways with the Shelby family. Netflix is working on two separate Peaky Blinders spin-off shows about the Birmingham-based Shelby clan and their criminal activities between the 1880s and 1910s.
