Cillian Murphy and Barry Keoghan share a laugh on the set of upcoming Peaky Blinders movie The Immortal Man as they wrap production
It was confirmed in June that the Peaky Blinders' original writing and directing team would be returning alongside Cillian for a Netflix film adaptation of the hit series.
Cillian, 48, donned his character Tommy Shelby's classic black flat cap and long coat, whilst Barry, 32, sported a similar ensemble in grey. The epic continuation of the multi-award-winning gangster saga, set in the lawless streets of Birmingham in the 1900s, has been written by the show's creator, Steven Knight, who will co-produce alongside Caryn Mandabach, Cillian Murphy and Guy Heeley. Peaky Blinders aired six series over nine years and ended with Tommy, who had been tricked into believing he had a terminal illness, surviving an assassination attempt orchestrated by his own nephew before killing him and moving away for a new life.
