Christopher Reeve's son Will reveals final tragic promise to his father before Superman star's death


The iconic Superman actor died unexpectedly due to heart failure in 2004 at age 52, nine years after an equestrian accident left him paralyzed.

Now the movie legend's three children, Matthew, 44, Alexandra, 40 and Will, 32, have worked together to showcase his life on the big screen in the eye-opening new documentary film, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story. All three of his children work with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation which aims to cure spinal cord injury by advancing innovative research and improving the quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis. The new film gives a rare glimpse into his life behind-the-scenes, including his complicated relationship with his professor father and leaving his partner Gae Exton, who he shared his first two kids, Matthew and Alexandra, with.
