Christopher Reeve’s Son Will Reeve To Cameo In James Gunn’s ‘Superman’
James Gunn's 'Superman' will feature Will Reeve, son of original 'Superman' star Christopher Reeve, according to local reporting in Cleveland.
The doc chronicles his astonishing rise from unknown actor to iconic movie star, and how his definitive portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman set the benchmark for the superhero cinematic universes that dominate cinema today, also examining the near-fatal horse-riding accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down in 1995, and his work later in life as a passionate advocate for disability rights and care. The first title in a revamped DC slate overseen by studio bosses Gunn and Peter Safran, Superman will follow the superhero of the same name as he looks to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. Others set for roles in the highly anticipated Warner Bros feature, as previously announced, include Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Skyler Gisondo, María Gabriela de Faría, Sara Sampaio, Wendell Pierce and Beck Bennett, to name just a few.
