Christmas Dramedy ‘Breakup Season’ Lands Distribution From Buffalo 8, Releases First Trailer (EXCLUSIVE)
Indie Christmas dramedy "Breakup Season" has landed distribution from Buffalo 8, and has released its first trailer.
In the new trailer for “ Breakup Season,” a young man (Chandler Riggs) brings his girlfriend (Samantha Isler) back to his rural Oregon hometown to meet his family for the first time over Christmas. The film has garnered 29 awards on the festival circuit and also stars Jacob Wysocki (“Pitch Perfect”), James Urbaniak (“Oppenheimer”), Carly Stewart, Brook Hogan and Kailey Rhodes (“The Way We Speak”). Riggs is best known for his eight-season run as Carl on “The Walking Dead.” Isler played the younger version of Jessica Chastain’s character in Aaron Sorkin’s “Molly’s Game,” and appeared alongside Viggo Mortensen in “Captain Fantastic,” which earned the cast a SAG nomination for best ensemble.
