Christine McGuinness shares unexpected fear two years on since end of marriage

As the second instalment of BBC Pilgrimage saw the team trek further across Wales, Christine McGuinness shared a candid but personal insight into her fears since end of marriage

The new details first came to light when Christine and her fellow pilgrims were told about druid practices and early baptisms as a symbolic way to let go of their worries and cleanse themselves to start a new chapter of their lives. Several other members of the pilgrimage also expressed concerns with the accommodation, including BBC Traitors star Amanda Lovett who described it as “minging” meanwhile, actor Tom Rosenthal also took issue with the bare necessities it offered. Although it may not have been the ideal location, Christine was later thankfully able to overcome her reservations and found a room inside that she could cope with, something which she later admitted was a huge relief, as she had been enjoying the experience up until that point.
