Ahead of Pilgrimage's return to our screens, Christine McGuinness has revealed the unexpected benefit she found from taking part as it helped her to combat her fear of dying

Appearing on The One Show to discuss her participation in the series, which this year sees the star follow the North Wales Pilgrim’s Way, Christine, 36, revealed that taking part in the process had helped her overcome one obstacle in particular - her debilitating fear of dying, which often dominated her thoughts.
