Christine McGuinness 'cried eyes out' in supermarket over family struggles
Christine McGuinness has been open about her family's struggles in the past, and shared a heartbreaking moment in an autobiography which left her in tears
She revealed that she had to bring them home for lunch as they refused to eat at school, and one specific food item led to a distressing incident at a supermarket. Christine noticed they'd spin objects, repeat behaviours from their infancy like drinking from bottles and wearing nappies, and avoid certain toys such as Play-Doh, sand or slime. The TV star was diagnosed after she and her ex-husband, comedian Paddy McGuinness, were invited to meet Sir Simon Baron-Cohen at Cambridge University.
