Ahead of their first wedding anniversary, the 43-year-old realtor, who previously worked as a police officer in California for 16 years, laughed off past remarks about their whirlwind romance, which many predicted wouldn't last. 'During the series, Tarek and Christina, along with Heather and Josh will compete to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain (and a chance at major bragging rights),' HGTV said on its site.
