Christina Applegate Says She's in a 'Real Depression' After MS Diagnosis: 'I Don't Enjoy Living'

Christina Applegate announced her MS diagnosis in August 2021.

Though the podcast was just released, it was recorded months ago, shortly after Applegate made a surprise appearance at the 2024 Emmy Awards in January. Now, Applegate said she's "kind of just giving up" with everything, save for Sadie, the 13-year-old daughter she shares with her husband, Martyn LeNoble. "What makes it harder is when you compare it to how it used to be... Once we get you to this place where we're accepting that this is how it's going to be, maybe forever... [coping with MS] is not a reason enough for you to stop living," Sigler said.
