Chrissy Teigen shared that her family is 'still learning' about Type 1 Diabetes in response to a fan's comment on Instagram after revealing her 6-year-old son Miles' diagnosis in July.

The model and author, 38 — who revealed her 6-year-old son Miles ’ diagnosis in July — said her family is “still learning” about the condition as she responded to a fan’s comment on her Instagram post on Nov. 23. "A lot of you noticed something a little special about a photo I posted a few days ago — Luna, Miles and I celebrating Simone and team USA," Teigen wrote. Teigen added that she was “blown away” after fans “extended so much love and encouragement in every way possible.” She explained that Miles “was sick, in the hospital, with a terrible case of [the intestinal infection] shigella ...But the doctors knew something else was off about his blood tests,” as she revealed her little boy's diagnosis.
