Chris Young Has a Message ‘For All the Trolls’ After Charges Against Him Were Dropped

The misdemeanors he faced were dismissed after surveillance videos of the alleged incident surfaced.

Young was charged with three misdemeanors that have since been dropped: resisting arrest, assaulting an officer and disorderly conduct. The musician got up, put his hands up and began backing away from the agents, as one stepped forward to begin speaking with Young. That security footage was part of the reviewed evidence that led to Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk dropping all charges against the singer on Jan. 26, stating, “Regarding the Chris Young incident, after a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed.”
