Chris Pine says he does not know anything about "The Princess Diaries 3," including if he'll return as Nicholas.
The “Star Trek” favorite made his film acting debut in the 2004 sequel “The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.” He played Nicholas, the slow-burning love interest of Anne Hathaway’s Mia Thermopolis. Plot details haven’t been confirmed, but the threequel is expected to continue the story in 2001’s “The Princess Diaries” and the 2004 sequel “Royal Engagement” rather than be a reboot for the series. “As a diehard fan of the original ‘Princess Diaries,’ I’m beyond excited to be a part of bringing the third iteration of this beloved franchise to life,” Lim said in a statement.
