Chris McCausland reveals Strictly bosses offered to bring in new rule for his performances during live shows but he refused


The comedian is the first blind contestant to take part on the BBC dancing show, and has been candid about the challenges he faces when learning routines.

The blind comedian took to the dancefloor on Saturday night to compete in a high drama Samba-thon involving all seven couples on the floor at the same time Chris has been a comedian for over two decades and is a regular face on flagship comedy shows like Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie to You?, QI, The Last Leg, and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The TV star has also appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside his pal and fellow comedian Donna Preston, as well as an episode of EastEnders.
