Chris McCausland injured during Strictly Come Dancing and forced to seek medical help

Chris McCausland has been seen by the Strictly Come Dancing physio team after he managed to sprain his wrist during rehearsals with professional dance partner Dianne Buswell

The 47 year old comedian, who is blind, is set to perform an emotional waltz with his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone on Saturday 19 October. Fans were gutted to hear that the comedy gem has joined the casualty list on Strictly Come Dancing this season, after sustaining a sprain which also led to pro dancer Dianne having a bit of a tumble during practice. Speaking about the mishap, Chris said: "As sprains go, it was a mild one and I was deemed fit to dance by the Strictly physio, but I needed to wear a wrist support."
