Chris McCausland fans all say the same thing as he 'dances' and sings on TV years before Strictly

Chris McCausland, who is starring on this year's Strictly, had a very different career before becoming a comedian and appearing on panel shows – as fans are just realising

This stand-up comic, who's a panel-show favourite on hits like Would I Lie To You and stars in sitcoms such as Not Going Out, got his breakout role in the children's TV series Me Too!, playing the colourful market trader Rudi from 2006 to 2007. With his garish yellow and gold outfit, Chris taught tots lessons from not littering to munching on healthy snacks while running around the city of Riverseafingal. Having tossed his name into the hat for a position at MI5, the jokester breezed through the selection process until he reached the final cut the top 1% of candidates.
