Chris Kamara has opened up about the health problems he is facing amid his heartbreaking speech apraxia battle

TV presenter Chris, 67, revealed in 2022 that he has apraxia, a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult to speak. Chris has opened up about his health (Credit: ITV) “Alongside apraxia, and also thyroid problems which have come to light, I am also battling with dyspraxia which affects my co-ordination and balance,” he told The Sun. In his autobiography, Kammy, which was serialised in The The Mirror, Chris laid bare the “dark times” triggered by his illness.
