Chris Hemsworth To Lead The Cast Of ‘Transformers’ & ‘G.I. Joe’ Crossover Movie
Marvel star Chris Hemsworth is currently in discussions to lead the cast of the upcoming crossover film featuring the Transformers and G.I. Joe franchises.
Paramount’s intent to intertwine these two worlds was hinted at in the post-credits scene of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which successfully rejuvenated the franchise with a global box office haul of $439 million. The groundwork for the crossover was laid in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts with a post-credits scene featuring Noah (played by Anthony Ramos), who, after saving Earth with the Autobots and Maximals, returns to New York. As demonstrated at its CinemaCon presentation, Paramount Pictures is determined to leverage its extensive portfolio of IP — despite ongoing speculation about potential mergers with major entities like Skydance or Sony/Apollo.
