Chris Evans will return to the Marvel universe for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ after last appearing as Captain America in 2019
Chris Evans has broken his silence on his supersized secret cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine, in which he reprises his role as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch from 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four franchise from the 2000s. During the panel Evans also revealed that 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the actor’s second foray as the masked crusader, was his favourite movie from the MCU. Captain America 4 will feature Anthony Mackie playing the star-spangled superhero, a fact Chris Evans emphasized when addressing speculation that he’d return to the big screen as Steve Rogers.
