Chris Brown Freed on $6.7 Million Bail in London Ahead of Tour

Chris Brown has been released on bail in London ahead of his tour after his May 15 arrest.

The “Forever” singer also has to surrender his passport when not traveling for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX Tour in North American and Europe, which is scheduled to kick off June 8. The two-time Grammy winner was arrested on May 15 while at his hotel in Manchester for what officials told The Independent was “suspicion of grievous bodily harm ” tied to an alleged assault that happened at a nightclub in February 2023. The Associated Press also reported that a friend of Brown’s and fellow musician Omololu Akinlolu — whose stage name is HoodyBaby — was also charged Saturday (May 17) with causing grievous bodily harm with intent over the alleged attack on Diaw.
