Chris Brown Denied Bail in U.K. After Arrest for Alleged 2023 Nightclub Attack

Chris Brown has been denied bail in the U.K. after being arrested for an alleged 2023 nightclub attack.

The singer was taken into custody on Thursday (May 15) after being arrested at his Manchester hotel and charged with “inflicting grievous bodily harm,” which has been tied to a February 2023 London nightclub attack allegedly involving Brown. According to Reuters, prosecutor Hannah Nicholls told the courtroom that Brown delivered an alleged “unprovoked attack with a weapon in a nightclub full of people” against producer-promoter Abraham Diaw at Tape in Central London. The global stadium trek is slated to kick off in Europe on June 8 with a show in Amsterdam before coming stateside on July 30 for a Miami concert.
