Chris and Rosie Ramsey's hit BBC comedy series is shelved by bosses despite getting primetime slot


Chris and Rosie Ramsey's chat show has been shelved by the BBC after only two series.

The second series saw Ronan and Storm Keating open up on their relationship, while Fred Sirieix and his fiancée Fruitcake also made an appearance on the show. An insider told the publication: 'The BBC absolutely love Chris and Rosie, they're a hilariously entertaining duo but most importantly, real. The Annual Plan for 2024/25, released earlier this year, revealed that the 'commitment' to 'first-run original drama' will dip by 13 per cent to 350 hours, in part reflecting the broadcaster's decision to axe BBC1 daytime soap Doctors.
