In an interview with Today, Chip, 50, and wife Joanna Gaines, 47, shared that when their daughter Ella, 18, left for her prom night, they told her to be back at midnight. Chip was not sure what time Ella ended up coming home, only noting that it was "definitely in the wee hours of the next morning," since he went to bed at 9 p.m. that night. The mom of five shared a video on her Instagram — set to "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Disney's Cinderella — showing off the set-up that her daughter surprised her with overnight.
