Chilean Comic Fabrizio Copano To Unveil First English-Language Special ‘From The Future’ In July
Fabrizio Copano's comedy special 'From the Future' will be released by 800 Pound Gorilla Media in July.
Inspired by American stand-ups like Eddie Murphy and Lewis Black, he started doing stand-up in coffee shops and grew to become one of Latin America’s most well known and highly regarded comics, as well as the first South American to shoot an original comedy special for Netflix. In addition to 2017’s Solo pienso en mi for that streamer, he put out the Spanish-language special Live from Caupolicán in 2024. Previously, Copano co-wrote and starred in one of Chile’s highest grossing comedies, 2013’s Barrio Universitario.
