Chicago P.D. adds Warrior Nun actress Toya Turner to main cast of ahead of season 12... marking her third venture into One Chicago universe
Former Warrior Nun star Toya Turner has joined the cast of Chicago P.D. for a brand new series regular role that's set to begin in the upcoming season 12.
The actress has been tapped to play Kiana Cook, according TV Line, a patrol officer that 'loves the adrenaline' of the job and its stakes that come with it, 'who doesn't blink in the face of chaos,' although her character had previously been named Yara Page. Turner's entrance to the police procedural action series, a Chicago Fire spin-off, comes on the heels of Tracy Spiridakos's exit from the NBC show after eight seasons as Detective Hailey Upton Halstead, seven of which were spent as part of the main cast. Her Hollywood resume also includes a recurring role in NBC's New Amsterdam, a guest spot on ABC's Grey’s Anatomy, Netflix’s Easy, as well as Fox's The Mick and Empire, as reported by Deadline.
