Chevy Chase, 80, announces he's going to be a grandfather as daughter Emily shares pregnancy news: 'I can't wait'
On Saturday, the former Saturday Night Live legend revealed that the youngest of his three daughters, Emily Chase, is expecting a baby with her partner Alex Baglieri.
The star of the wildly popular National Lampoon's Vacation film franchise and his third wife Jayni Luke were married in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles in June 1982. 'Chevy and I have had an amazing 44 years,' Jayni said of her husband to Bedford & New Canaan Magazine, before adding, 'Chevy was absolutely smitten with each of our daughters, and he's been a super loving and devoted father.' After suddenly leaving SNL, he went on to become a Hollywood leading man in comedies such as National Lampoon's Vacation, which was just one of five films in the franchise; he starred alongside Anthony Michael Hall, Beverly D'Angelo and Dana Barron
