Cheryl Hines and RFK Jr. Have 'Barely Spoken' Since News of His Alleged 'Personal Relationship' with Reporter

A source tells PEOPLE that Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have "barely spoken" in the two weeks since his alleged "personal relationship" with reporter Olivia Nuzzi was revealed by New York magazine.

After New York magazine revealed the news — and that Nuzzi had been put on leave — she said in a statement shared with PEOPLE that "the nature of some communication" between herself and "a former reporting subject turned personal." Nuzzi clarified that the "relationship was never physical but should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict." She was seen attending several shows during Milan Fashion Week on Sept. 21, two days after New York magazine released its statement, and was joined by her daughter Catherine Young.
