Cheryl 'saved Liam Payne's life' in his darkest hour before final spiral
Liam Payne sadly passed away in October 2023 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in his final interview, he thanked his ex Cheryl for saving him
In June 2022, Liam appeared on Logan Paul's podcast with a series of contentious remarks, claiming that 1D was formed around himself and that he outsold his fellow bandmates with his debut single. A source close to Maya revealed to the press that Liam's struggles with alcohol, drugs and mental health were so overwhelming that they impacted his ability to function professionally. Another source claimed that Maya called it quits on their relationship in 2022 due to a myriad of reasons, including an incident where Liam "revealing sexting conversations with strangers to her by accidentally broadcasting them to their TV."
