The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is welcoming Cher, Ozzy Osbourne, Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, and A Tribe Called Quest into the Class of 2024.
Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, A Tribe Called Quest, Jimmy Buffett, MC5, Dionne Warwick, and Big Mama Thornton will also enter the Cleveland institution The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has officially announced this year’s inductees: Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Bang, Ozzy Osbourne, and A Tribe Called Quest will join the class of 2024 in the Performer category. “Boyd’s not with us in the band anymore, playing, but it doesn’t mean he wasn’t there when we made our first record,” Matthews told Billboard in 2019, after the group appeared on a prior ballot.
