Cher Reverses Stance on Accepting Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nomination: ‘I’m Going to Have Some Words to Say’
Cher has reversed her stance on accepting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination.
While on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” late last year, the iconic singer stated that her omission left her with a sour taste and that she would never join the Hall of Fame if they offered. Now, after she was included as a nominee for this year’s class alongside Mary J. Blige, Peter Frampton and Ozzy Osbourne, she’s changed her opinion on attending the ceremony this fall. “Even though I am extremely flattered to be nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I don’t feel that I have earned that right,” she wrote in a statement.
