Cher makes EastEnders debut in surprise career move for pop superstar - but it's not what you'll expect


American pop sensation Cher has made her soap debut in BBC's EastEnders, appearing in a scene with Barry Evans - played by Shaun Williamson - as part of a new ad campaign

The 78-year-old was seen duetting her hit song 'I Got You Babe' with EastEnders character Barry Evans (played by Shaun Williamson) as the rest of the cast watched on in The Queen Vic pub, however the clip was just part of Cher's starring role in the advert for U, UKTV's new streaming service.
