Charly Bliss are back with a new song, “Nineteen,” that’ll appear on the band’s upcoming album, Forever, out Aug. 16 via Lucky Number Music. “Nineteen” is a power ballad of the highest order, complete with a saxophone solo and the complex nostalgia that can still strike years after a broken heart: “Can I be honest?,” Eva Hendricks sings. Though Charly Bliss were used to writing everything in a room together, the distance suited the band, allowing individual members to pursue ideas and songs at their own pace.
