Charlize Theron is spending time in Sydney as she prepares to film her new Netflix thriller, Apex.
Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong'o are also slated to star in the Universal Pictures flick hitting IMAX theaters on July 17, 2026. It's been nearly two years since the Emmy nominee wrapped her role as the oldest immortal warrior Andromache 'Andy' of Scythia in Victoria Mahoney's superhero sequel The Old Guard 2, and Netflix still hasn't announced a release date. Theron executive produced the small-screen adaptation of Greg Rucka's 2017 graphic novel which will also feature Uma Thurman, KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Vân Veronica Ngô, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Henry Golding.
